"Consequences" to your Actions?

I just finished Aleatha Romig 's controversial book Consequences and holy moly there were consequences to Claire our poor TSTL heroine.  Ok, Ok, she isn't always TSTL (too stupid to live) sometimes she is actually smart with thoughts of kickassedness.  However, Anthony our male protagonist  I can't bring myself to call him a hero maybe a sicko, wacked out, deluded, twisted psycho.  Oh, no I don't have strong feelings about it at all.*grin*

Yes, this book brought out very strong feelings mostly of the negative kind but the great thing is, that is what the author intended to happen.  This is my first Aleatha Romig book and I can tell you the quality of writing and story building was fabulous, the way she created her characters brought them to life in the imagination of the reader.  She is also a very gracious lady, she took my threats to "bitchslap" Anthony very well, ok ok she laughted at me however she also set my mind at rest about a few things which I really appreciated.  She has also helped me find my reading "limits".  I'm pretty open minded about what I read, and usually willing to give anything a go at least once.  I didn't think I would ever need to safe word on a book, forgive the BDSM reference, but I just couldn't continue a trilogy this dark, and disturbing without knowing our heroine was going to get her HEA.  If left in the rage I experienced after book 1 I just knew I was not going to continue.  So, if a book is dark, disturbing I need a HEA, this could be why I don't appreciate horror books, no guaranteed HEA.

I also started to ponder about consequences.  I have always believed that for every action there is a reaction, this could be worded that for every action there is a consequence.  It could be a good or a bad consequence depending on the original action.  I remember my mother saying to me when I was a young girl "what goes around comes around", the bible goes as far as tell us to "do unto others as they would have us do unto you", Wiccans also believe that anything you do will come back 3 fold.  This would lead us to believe that there is truth in these words.  What does this mean to me?  That there is no point in flipping the bird to the driver that cut you off, as he will  get his or that rude woman in line at the grocery..I could go on.  So if we take this to heart we can assuredly become more serene knowing that every bad deed will be rewarded with a bad deed and every good deed will also come back to you.

My question with all this is when?

Read Aleatha Romig's Truth hopefully we will find out the consequences of Anthony's behaviour and Claire's patience.  I just don't know who will face what consequence and who will be rewarded and who will be punished.....
